Hi my name is Marc Larose, I am the director and owner of Voiles Azores Lda a Portuguese Company implicated in promoting local culture and traditional art. I am also very preoccupied by heritage, traditional works related to the sea activities and Cultural Ecotourism. I am a Canadian citizen living in Horta (Azores) and a resident for more than 10 years.
We are very preoccupied by the 3Rs principles: REDUCE - REUSE - RECYCLING. We are trying to work with only recycled materials and reusing what is available on the Central islands of the Azores. Our projects are in relation with the sea. I am very proud to be able to work with João Tavares and other collaborateurs to promote Traditional Azorean Whale boats's heritage.
